"She Walks in Beauty"

 

Here's the latest from my bench. The largest pendant is "She Walks in Beauty", rubies, London Blue topaz, tourmaline, and sterling silver. It was custom made for a bride.

Also are two Hydrangea pendants with white sapphire. 

Also pictured is a fossil ammonite with a London Blue topaz.

These pieces represent a triumph over fear. These incorporate tube setting - which prior to these pieces I have never done. I didn't want to ruin these pieces by doing a messed up tube setting. However, I felt that these pieces really called for tube set stones.

So fear let's you know there's power there. With my husband's help (he's done tube setting before) I did it! And now I have a new tool in my belt. I look forward to more adventures in stone settings.
