pray to God, but believe in Dilaudid

that's my thought for the month of February.

and perhaps it seems irreverent, but it is not. God created the fine medical minds that developed Dilaudid. And when my patients are dying, it truly is a miracle drug for many. morphine helps many. but when morphine isn't cutting it, i am glad that there is Dilaudid to alleviate suffering.
