This quilt was on the cover of the Long Beach International Quilt Show's brochure. It's a zinger! I think this quilt is an excellent example that an artist's personality shines through "traditional" quilting. One more example of why I eschew the term "art quilt". I think all quilts are "art quilts". E.G., we don't say "art painting" or "art sculpture". Why? Because it is assumed that painting and sculture are art. I dislike any connotation that all quilts are not art.
